Thank you for taking the time to visit my photography website. My name is Willa Palmer, and I am a photographer, filmmaker, and singer based in New Jersey. I have had a camera in hand since age 4 and have always had a passion for sharing my perspective through imagery. I feel a deep curiosity toward the art of noticing, whether it's unique lighting, interesting patterns, or natural beauty. I seek uniqueness and honesty in my work. I grew up surrounded by, and involved in, the deep, rich art community of Philadelphia, coupled with the rural communities of New Jersey, which gave me a variety of perspectives and allowed me to access different parts of myself. This self-exploration continued during my university journey, where I was fortunate enough to live and study overseas in London for four years, earning an undergraduate degree in Photography/Film from the University of Roehampton and a Master's in Vocal Studies from the Institute of Contemporary Music Performance. In addition, I have had the privilege to travel to many places, including Uruguay, Spain, Ireland, and Switzerland, which broadened my horizons and inspired me greatly. As I now embark on my professional career, I look forward to collaborating with others to bring their visions to life, with the hopes to capture spaces, places, and people in an emotionally rich, visually beautiful way.
